Changing carrier name is done through a jailbreak tweak called FakeCarrier. All you need to do is the following steps:

  1. Open Cydia on your device.
  2. Search for FaceCarrier and then download it.
  3. After the installation process will complete, you will the app icon on your home screen.
  4. When you will open the app for the very first time, it will show you an error stating that the app needs to be updated. Ignore it.
  5. Open the app.
  6. You will see an option named Carrier.
  7. Type your desired text next to this option and tap on Set.
  8. As soon as you exit the app after tapping on Set, you will notice that your carrier name has changed.
