This method is a perfect method if you do not want to receive messages from a specific number or a company. Follow the steps given below to do so:
- Open Messages app on your iPhone.
- Open the conversation from which you do not want to receive messages anymore.
- Now, tap on i at the top right corner.
- Now, tap on the sender’s name.
- After the above step, tap on Block This Caller.
- Now, tap on Block Contact to confirm.
After doing this, you will not receive any messages from this sender. Apart from messages, you will also not receive any calls or FaceTime calls from this sender.
The first method completely blocks a particular sender. This method filters messages from an unknown sender and keeps them separately from your important messages. Also, it turns off notification for the messages from an unknown sender. Hence, you don’t get disturbed by any useless thing while you are working.
For doing this, go to Settings and then tap on Messages.
