On Tuesday, March 21st, 2017, Apple launched a new special red version of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7S. The new versions come up with a red aluminum body in two models, 128 GB and 256 GB. The starting price of this special edition iPhones is $749. The special edition iPhones will be available in stores from March 24th.
Though Apple has not specified the time till red iPhones are available, but yes, they are available only for a limited time. The special version of the iPhones has been launched to commemorate the 10 years of partnership between the tech giant and Red. Red is an organization working actively to fight AIDS.
Along with iPhone 7 Red and iPhone 7S Red, the tech giant has also launched its cheapest iPad till date. The tech giant has also launched a standalone app. Considering that Apple’s sales declined in the financial year 2016, the marketing experts are considering these launches as the right ones. With Apple selling out around 78.3 million iPhones in its most recent quarter, the numbers can go even higher in the coming quarter.
The Cheapest iPad
Along with the red iPhones, Apple also launched a 9.7-inch iPad with a brighter retina display. The 32GB model of the iPad is priced at $329. This is the lowest price at which the tech giant has launched an iPad to date.
Clips is a standalone app for iOS users to share their videos on social media. According to Apple, Clips lets a user create immersive videos. A user can create videos across all the social media platforms, but mainly Facebook and Instagram.
