Instagram made major changes to it’s design in the last quarter of 2016 and the first quarter of 2017. It switched to a flat-white interference. If you are one of those people who are not really fond of the white color, then we have a solution for you.
There exists a jailbreak tweak which exists specifically for this problem. Going by the name ColorGram, it allows you to colorize the various parts of the Instagram app. Various parts include navigation, tap bars to the text, etc.
How to use Colorgram?
Once you install Colorgram, go to its Settings. Once you reach the Settings pane, you will see multiple sections dedicated to a particular element of the original application. The Settings pane includes options for customizing:
- Navigation Bar,
- Tab Bar,
- Carousel Indicator,
- Text Color, and
- Refresh View.
What else can you do?
The best part about this tweak is that you have no limits on the choice of colors. All you need to do is enter the hex code of the color you want. Also, you can enable and disable this tweak on your requirements. Apart from this, you can also remove that gradient ring around the stories of your friends.
Also, do not worry about customizing each and every element of the app. You need to only customize the parts you want to. But if you customize all the elements, you will get a consistent look and feel across the app.
So, if you have never been a fan of white color, this tweak is definitely for you. You can also switch to a dark theme for night use.
Where can you find ColorGram?
ColorGram is available in Cydia’s BigBoss repository for $1.49.
